The Girl Behind the Camera

Hi, I'm Taylor.

I used to think I was collecting passport stamps. Now I think I was collecting ways of living.

I grew up in California and spent years convinced I was headed to medical school. Somewhere between organic chemistry and a one-way ticket to Madrid, life had other plans. What was supposed to be a gap year became the beginning of a completely different story.

Since then, I've chased golden hour through cobblestone streets, gotten wonderfully lost in cities I couldn't pronounce a week earlier, shared meals with strangers who became lifelong friends, and learned that the places we visit often change us in ways we never expect.

People ask me if I travel because I love seeing the world. The truth is, I travel because I love seeing how people live. Every place offers a different answer to the same question:

What makes a good life?

That's the question I've been chasing ever since, and photography became my way of exploring it.

I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, but photography was never really about taking pictures. It was about paying attention. The way morning light spills across a hotel balcony, the conversation that lingers long after dinner, the tiny moments between the obvious ones. I notice the details other people walk past.

A camera just happens to be my favorite language for telling those stories.

Today, I work with hotels, tourism boards, and hospitality brands to create imagery that feels less like advertising and more like an invitation. I want someone to look at a photo and feel something before they've even booked the trip—not because I simply want them to see a place, but because I want them to imagine who they might become there.

If there's one thread connecting everything I create it's this: I tell stories that make people want to see the world, and maybe even their own lives, a little differently.

I don't believe there's one right way to live. I believe we're all collecting experiences, people, and places that slowly teach us what "home" means, what matters to us, and who we're becoming. This corner of the internet is where I bring those stories together. The travel guides I wish existed, the photos that make you want to book a flight, and the honest reflections that remind us life isn't one-size-fits-all.
